The Dmv of Love

There is a waiting list
Just to take you out
I pulled my number,
And I'm waiting in line
C37 is mine

They're on J11
So I have no idea when,
Or if
I'll get a chance
Next they say B14
Does that mean I'm close?
"Z28!"
Nope, Never mind

The amount of people
In this waiting room
Just keeps growing
They must be reaching capacity,
But there is no way of knowing.
I guess I just came at a bad time
Guess I'm a fool for even coming in now
And trying
But it's the only time I could.

Hey! That guy got here after me
And has been called already
That's not fair.
I don't understand this place
Can't I just talk with you face to face?
This could be resolved quickly,
Where is Jesse White anyways?

No, he doesn't run this place.
You're picture is on the wall,
You're the Secretary of State.
And I got slim chances of getting
A Date.

Just as good as mine are of
Meeting Jesse, himself.
Maybe I should become a tumbler,
Ah I'm just joking
Probably joke too much.
But even a clown
Frowns sometimes when he washes off his makeup

"C37"
No way! That's me!
This wasted day was worth it after all.
"What do you mean I don't have all the correct forms?!?!"
"But you said this is all I needed"
Guess I'll come back
When I"m notified by mail again.
Either that or get pulled over
In some other state again.

But no, I would get arrested this time.
Maybe I should just try another DMV.
No, they'll all be closed by the time I get there.
And it's a risk driving in my circumstances anyways.
I was willing to roll those dice on you.
I think it's still worth it
I'll play it safe
Go back and park this car.
Wait till I'm notified again.
Finally get the right forms
And maybe Ill get a chance.
