The Death of Football

I never thought I'd fall out of love with football
I've seen referees make bad decisions, but this super league is the worst ever call
No football fan wins from this, its just the greedy owners bank accounts that get a victory
All this does is throw away your clubs entire history

I fell in love with the beautiful game that can bring you happiness and leave you heartbroken
The beauty of teams trying to avoid relegation and fight for promotion
When Leicester made a dream become reality by winning the League it was a beautiful thing
Jamie Vardy worked his way up from the bottom to become a premier league king

The champions league already exists so this doesn't need to happen
this is all about greedy owners who only care about money and have no passion
This is just for the biggest clubs it's not even about the best teams
We haven't won the league in 8 years, the last few years have been more nightmares for us and less dreams

Arsenal haven't ever won the champions league so why are they even considered to be in this?
Every year they're fighting for a mid table finish
This may be one of the few times where fans of different clubs all agree and come together
Because none of us want this as it will be the end of football forever

My heart is broken about football because this proves the passion is gone
But I'm too poor to tell these rich ignorant owners that their actions are wrong
I'll always love United and hate the Glazers
I'll always enjoy the banter with Liverpool fans and our noisy neighbours

This will destroy smaller football clubs
No more passion in the beautiful game that we all love
I hope the European super league doesn't go ahead and things remain the same
Because if it does, it will be the death of football and the beautiful game
