The Day That I Met You,

I seen you at your doorstep
when i pulled up to your path,
wondering if it was the right thing
or was i being daft,

when you came to me, you gave me a massive smile,
throwing your arms around me,
and i knew it was worth every mile,

I stood and i hugged you, as you gave my cheek a peck,
it felt a loving feeling,
the one i will not forget,

as we went for a drive, it was in the middle of the night,
we stopped in a car park, where the moons light was bright,
I listened to you speaking, it was so sweet and soft,
It was so romantic, like fires with some logs,

you took me to the pub, and all your friends were there,
and all i did was admire, your looks and shiny hair,
you came on over, and gave me a loving peck,
and when you did this, gave me chills running down my neck,

i watch you when your speaking, i watched you when you smile,
all my time in searching, you made it worth the while,

its like reading a little story, but this one came true,
as there is no other women, even half as pretty as you,
and when we are not together, I shut my eyes and dream,
as your one beautiful lady, the best i have ever seen,

i hope you love me forever, and always hold my hand,
and be there beside me, as we make our future plan,
this is fantastic, you let me be your man,
