Love Poem: The Dance

The Dance

Ever softly, so distracting
This cause effect
Response reacting..
As smaller stones
Thrown in larger pools..
Rippling currents
And dancing fools..
Passions hot enough
To ride the lightning
Bodies dancing
Limbs entwining.
Clever beguiling
Convincing illusion..
Somehow still lost
Within confusion.
Polar opposites
Attracted together.
Hot and cold clashing
Thunderous pleasure..
Oil on water
Looking for flame.
Beautiful countenance.
A heart that knows pain.
Sunshine and moonlight
Dancing forever..
The way we do when we’re together.
Frozen moments
In pictures framed.
Candlelight dancing on window panes.
And here I sit,
With none to blame.
Wondering if you..
Feel the same..
