The Cross Around My Neck
I wear a cross around my neck,
To show the world I'm a Christian,
I wear a cross around my neck,
It shows my faith in God,
Even though the world is in utter chaos,
I will always show my love
For my God in Heaven,
The cross to me is a symbol,
Of Jesus' love for humanity
When he gave up his life on Calvary,
Other beliefs may claim to be able
To bring peace to a disquieting world,
But, its the way of the cross
That will last for eternity.
