The Cancer Call

I went to the hospital,
for a simple test.
I came home,and became
a burden,and a pest.

They sent me to a surgeon,
for a little breast exam.
I came home,as meek as
alittle lamb.

I used to think,I was home
free,until this cancer,had
invaded me.

I will stay,and fight,and fight,
andtill this cancer,is out of
sight.

I can't tell you,how scared
I feel.
Or when I might eat,my very
last meal.

When I leave,and you miss
my face.
Please beleive,I'm in a
better place.

Remember me always,
cause I love you all.
Please know it's me,
when you hear me call.
