Love Poem: The Calls of Fear

The Calls of Fear

Every day you hear the calls of fear
In your head, they are loud and clear
They are repeated by your peers
Nothing seem truer than what is near
Fear strips hope away from your ambitions
Leaving you naked and lost on your missions
Fear is not a wall, it’s like darkness
You can penetrate it with the dimmest light
Fear doesn’t win wars, it accepts shackles
You win a war, by battling day and night
Become deaf to fear and listen to belief
Become blind to foes, set your eyes on the prize
Don’t carry courage in your mind and fear in your heart
Understanding won’t move you, belief will make you start
The calls of fear are always noisy
Out of tune with a victory song to your trophy
Silence those calls of fear
Until you stand tall and cheer
