The Bullet of Love In a Digital Age

You shot me with your bullet
When you said 'i love you',
Halfway around the world I could not see you,
But looks did not matter as I loved you for you,
And Crazy in love we typed 'I miss you',
Your loving care kept me healthy with every picture I saw of you,
You graced the background of my computer and I think I did so too,
Madly in love,
In a digital age,
Was embedded the story of me and you.

And after an eternity of waiting,
I finally held you,
Victory was won over time, whose hands so slowly moved,
But on that Sunday it was like heaven had descended to earth just to unite me and you,
Connected by hands and not by wires or CPU's,
It was the best feeling one could ever have not being on ICQ.

I never wanted to let you go,
But our societies made us part,
And as that train so vigorously roared farther and farther away,
It split us apart,
And the bullet began to hurt my heart.

Back to our old ways on a keyboard and mouse,
Your passion for me was gone but mine still remained rampant for you,
You said you could not wait for me,
But darling I could wait a lifetime just have another moment with you,
Slowly,
Slowly,
Slowly,
The flame is burning out,
And my love for you will soon die out,
The bullet slowly thrusts through my heart churning at every thought of you.

I still want you,
But without your love,
Your bullet will kill me soon.
