The Bread Shop

The chairs are neatly arranged and they are waiting for the end game, eight men and two women are among the execution pack
They say that they have a better way to run the show and take you out of the dough, but I am not convinced by any of them even if they are destined for heaven. You are the life of the show and I will not allow you to go. I just cannot put this business to rest because deep down in my heart I know that your term in office is not over yet I can still feel the passion burning inside you
And the will to carry on until your five years are complete on the land.
I still cannot believe that they want to get rid of you when nothing in the constitution said that it is true, deceptive words fill the slot
And I was able to break up the succession plot
Yesterday I went over the rules book and search it through and through and I could not find one clause or one statement that confirms their disagreement and forced resignation.
Everything is opinionated and some people are fooling themselves
If deep down in my heart I knew that your time was over
I would have put everything to rest and start wearing my Sunday best. I still do not believe that you are leaving, my spirit is still grieving and I am just waiting for the game to change so that we can be together again
The customers are still coming and the cameras are rolling
The airport has turned into a spectacular arena, and it is attracting
All kind of traveller officials and visitors.
This morning a pack of dignitary rolled in
And the lines were long from here to Gibraltar
This is not about a premiership
It is a reality show fashioned to make you go
The bread is baking and my saliva is running
The tables are set and I am ready for dining
The breads are well done so place your order
Long bread, round bread, square bread, in the oven
Long bread, round bread, square bread looking up to heaven
French bread, German bread, English bread
Sliced bread, hard dough bread standing in a row
And waiting for you in the city of Glasgow
The smell of fresh baked bread circulates the air
The sweet aroma of cinnamon fresh baked bread roll
wet my appetite and provide me with much delight
I can smell English muffin baking too and
I cannot resist the smell seeping through the air
It watered my lips and give me the kicks
Fill the bread basket and take in the street
Fill the bread basket and feed all the people you meet.
Fill the bread basket and invite everybody for a meal
Sift the flour and knead the dough roll it on the table before you start the show
Fill the bread basket and make them happy
I can hear them crying after me
And hungry hands reaching out at me
Big hands, little hands and the infant’s hand trying to snatch the bread from my hands, they reached out at me in desperation
But the bread was far out of their reach
The bread shop around the corner can feed everybody
The bread shop around the corner can give you a cheap meal
And the information you need to seal the deal
Bread and soup will keep you cool
Bread and soup will hand you the power tool.
The bread shop around the corner has everything for your daughter.
