The Bottle Poem

No, lady, no!
Keep your grin and go;
Flowery, big-body tall,
Fleshy cheeks or hairy-fall.
Thank you! But the divine days
The merry moments and the ways
And the memories unfo’gettable
Her love with me, imperishable.
Between the spring and the summer
A dreamy day to the pasture
We, alone, talked in the shade
As near the bushes were laid
I praised her, a little frank
And, of the bottle we drank
She poured water on my face
And, dodging as I ran, we had a race.
