The Boatman's Song 13/ Many

The Boatman’s Song 13/Many

Her father was slowly getting surrounded,
By disguising but pretending to be sweet looking kith and kin’s
Who were showing to be his well-wishers,
But were busy only to somehow get rid of the King

His daughter YogMaya had all the qualities of a Princess
As she had even learnt the art of fighting like a warrior
With her matchless excellence on horse riding and sword fighting
She was the only hope of her aging father the King

The boatman saw from a distance that her princess charming
Was returning in a haste from there, with two other horseman
Her sudden coming and lighting like returning
Made the boatman a little uneasy
As he could see that the visit of a princess to a boatman and
Her immediate returning without telling anything
Was something, he was trying but couldn’t understand
As the love was hovering in his mind, like an intoxicating wine

And in those moments, he only wanted to feel and enjoy
The moments in which he was feeling himself in heaven
And flying like a Swan
Enjoying the beauties and love of his charming beloved

The boatman closed his eyes for a while and wanted to feel
As if, he was feeling beloved in the circle of his arms
The warmth of her presence had not vanished from his body and mind
Her image was flashing again and again in his mind
And he could feel the fairy like charming the Princess
Showering her love on him, as if the rains falls on the summer burnt earth

The Princess left the boatman, in a state of complete illusion
And the boatman found himself engulfed in the fire of love
Where ever he saw he found the image of his love
Her face was shining every where, such was the beauty of that face
The boatman tried even to come out of this illusion
But the more he tried to come out, the more she was there
Like his in separately breathe

Night and days passed away, but the boatman could not see
Even a glimpse of the lady who had charmed him so intensely
He could not forgot her words, “I will come to hear you and you songs
Very soon some day”
In the memory of those sweet loving words
He began to wait for his beloved, hoping that she would come one day

The boatman realized that he was in deep love
With the most beautiful woman on earth
But many days and nights and weeks passed away
But there was no sign of his beloved
