The Blue Pinky Nail

My relationship (twelve years) has been quite a ride,
The cross-cultural elements all put aside,
Though she's foreign, her language is pleasure to hear,
With an ambiance really like birds drinking beer.

Yes, her humor’s contagious, she’s artist with hair,
Who can match, or explain, Kimmy’s natural flair,
Look on Yelp; She gets five stars! It's not high enough,
And to dress any cuter, in fact, would be tough.

Her coiffure and her nails always manage to shine,
Fashion taste is impeccable, how is she mine?
Even poetry friends wonder how we’re a match,
And my answer is this! By God, she is a catch!

Do you get an allowance like me from your wife?
Though it could be she’s crazy, are you set for life?
As a pledge of commitment (for we don’t wear rings),
Friends (who manicure) joked we should try other things.

So a twin-like blue pinky was born on that day,
I suggested some sparkles as my part in fray,
It’s a humor filled coupling that we’re going through,
And though pinky’s not pink, I can swear I’m not blue!
