The Beauty Didnt Hold

i hear the vocals parting clouds
artsy and sophisticated
hope to feed the crowd
till doubt had situated
i cant undue the past
bear with me
bearing this cross
is all I can ask
why shall I be the bigger one?
stay and watch it burn?
now i will seek to heal
not the type dogs learn
some are flying high
i wish you well catching dreams
it was the little things
i don't know what that means
this is purely feeling first
finding the words is a curse
once this is solidified
my truth becomes harder to hide
from me
if you fully understood,
we wouldnt have arrived
no needed parted ways
deny we just survived
it always took two
and we pushed it past its bloom
the beauty didnt hold
birth will end in doom
thanks for what had lasted
i learned and did find love
it isnt always fairy tales
crows in place of doves
