Love Poem: The Barren Heart of a Mortal

The Barren Heart of a Mortal

Leave me not alone in this melting cave of emotions.
Leave me not alone in this lonesome zone.
I can hear memories and your deceiving
enchanting whispers,
in this dark corner.

Painted in the corner with
 the blood of my wounds.
A lethal kiss from you deceiving lips.
The once wholesome rose of my soul
wither in a flamed vase of emotions.

You were the inner gardener of my garden of love.
A garden contaminated by your weeds and
love sucking parasites, draining this garden
of love in a barren land and hardened rocks of sand.

Bliss transforms into a mist of
sorrow after a rain of tears.
A heart left on a rugged path, seem to
be clawed by bears. Words become arrows.
Ears bleed profusely. My love for you deaf
and no longer hears your voice.
Now I intensely despise as I realize all your
lies, covered by whip cream and sweet
peach pie. Once appealing to the eye
 in bewilderment
                         I sigh
                         I sigh
                         I sigh

The words of my ex girlfriends diary...
