Love Poem: The Angels

The Angels

She looked at her mom, and said, please don't cry,
It is no secret, that I am going to die.

The angels came late last night,
you did not hear them, they were so quiet.

They told me a story mom, about a beautiful place,
then they said, they would take me, at a real soon date.

Visions I got to see, with my very own eyes,
these things are waiting, but first I have to die.

I told them I was worried about you mom,
but they reassured me, you would soon come.

As I watched all those angels flying so free,
I will have wings too, they told this to me.

This disease that no doctor can cure,
they said Jesus, would make me so pure.

Now dry your eyes, and don't worry about me,
I'm going to heaven, and then my pain will leave,

Give me a kiss, and hold me while I sleep,
the angels are back, Jesus sent them for me.
