Two cats
wanting to be Number One;
each cat jealous
of the other one--
they lived with
two elderly people,
in a warm and
cozy flat--
a complete set of hands
for each cat-intervention
and yet the cats
spat, both wanting
all the attention;
So—when it comes to
cat-convention,
after long analysis
my wife and I
have decided,
numbers and fur
have always collided--
with math and cats
two plus two,
when the adding
is done,
will always
equal one….
