The Alluring Vase

The buds unfurl at the touch of dawn,
like the day in the spring sky dreamy,
as the southern zephyr ripples in my lawn,
I see the dulcet dance of daisy.

The flowers bloom in serene silence,
look up ardently at the arc of the sun,
soaking its illumined purity as the essence,
into heavenly beauty on earth they turn.

The night melts in the horizon draped in sunburst hue
and the morning mist slowly clears,
in my jade meadow I descry a surreal view,
as the sky of emeralds descends with sparkling stars.

The divine glow pulsates with floral cadence,
suffuses the weary mind with engrossing grace,
enshrined in the patina of pristine innocence,
like the placid radiance of your face.

Yearning for your elusive embrace,
with the flowers of my garden I’ll make a posy,
in your alluring vase of longing I’ll place
my heart hidden in daisy.
