The Aisle

Cathedral!
Not a pony trap
(Well) long enough for
memories' time.
Strolling down the dreamland wonder
redded beyond the lilac struggle.

(Father! a step farther)
From left to right
the eyes should feed
now that the hearts are fixed
(Uh! fixed)

Shame on the fragranced
velvet card.
Neighbors' words traveled far.
Praises, or not (Ooin)
Yes! It did.

Groovy friends
Yes! A roll they deserve
from a penny that never drops
(Yet, lilac is a wretched symbol)

Savvy father
The moves are never right
Swanky mother
'the odds are odd'
There and there, the moving odds.

Wait! The feets are moving,
far beyond the streaming.
The heart is leaping
leaving behind the creepies.
Oh! Yes! The medal is down the aisle.
