It came one day and filled my life with wonder
Flitting and flying showing me someone from down under
It taunted and teased me told me not to blunder
She said that to do so would put my heart asunder
I was amazed with the spell she cast on me
But when I raised my eyes I saw a beauty
Does not matter if she is far away across the sea
With the love fairy I was beginning to agree
In winning her heart I should try to hurry
