You gave me life,
You are within me and all around me,
You walk beside me always.
You blessed me with children loving and kind
And grandchildren, meek and mild
Thank you God, for loving me.
You blessed me with friends from many nations
Revealing to me, the magnitude of, Your Creation.
You blessed me with good health, a straight
spine and a gait with easy grace.
In my heart, no one can ever take your place.
Thank You God, for loving me.
You carry me in times of difficulty,
Guide my steps lest I stumble and fall.
You respond to me whenever I call,
and wipe away my tears when I cry
then look upon me and make me smile.
Thank you God, for loving me.
You comfort me when I mourn,
Pick me up when I am down.
You wrap your arms around me
Keeping evil away,
I know not fear in your loving care.
Thank you God, for loving me.
You love me, I know not why
I am not worthy but You make me Thine.
You forgive me a thousand times each day
and hold me close in a special way.
You make me your child by Grace.
Thank you God, for loving me.
Your Spirit fills my soul and warms my heart,
Within me, your Light sears a deep
and burning path.
Your Presence fills my whole existence.
You love me even when I fail to pray
or thank You for another day.
