I thank you for the problems
You guided me through so much
Im amazed at how you love me
Because others wouldnt spare a touch
I was hurting with pain
And you led me through
So I write this little poem
From your best friend to you
We've been through alot
Too much to recall
But I know you'd pick me up
After every single fall
The secrets and lies
They just all went away
After my lonely heart
Waited to here you say
To say those three words
That mean too much to my heart
Those three little words
Can make you stop and make you start
The 'I Love You' phrase
Is strong in its way
But Im brought to tears
When I think this to say
Those days at school
And just talking to you
But this poem will show
That my love is true
Ive been through the agony
The pain and the lies
But I finally put it away
With all of our ties
The ties that held us
The secrets that did come
They would seem so cruel
And so devious to some
The little poem Im writting
Just says it all to tears
So Im glad I've had you
To scare away my fears
