Your faithful presence, felt through all the years
our father's constant love brings grateful tears.
Without complaint, you worked hard to provide
though often tired, you listened as we shared
about our day, and then you'd gently guide
with words of wisdom, and we felt inside
you understood, with tenderness and care.
How reassuring
to have a father who loved
so deeply and completely.
You sacrificed, gave
and persevered for our sakes
we are blessed to call you DAD.
