Tell Me You Love Me

Tell Me You Love Me Do I really need to tell you Those three little words you long to hear? Do my actions not suffice Is our relationship's longevity Not enough to satisfy you? Good times and bad, we've survived Do I really need to tell you. Do I really need to tell you That our love is like the ocean? Deep, mysterious and eternal We're bonded together, you and me Like decades worth of barnacles Welded to undersea structures Do I really need to tell you? Do I really need to tell you Our love manifests through our children? By the way they raise their own To love and respect themselves And others, no matter who they are By the love we receive in return Do I really need to tell you? Do I really need to tell you After all, we are still together? We trust in each other If you are in trouble, I'll be there If you are hurt, I am too We are soul mates, you and me Do I really need to tell you?
