Tell It Like It Is Poetry

The ink upon this parchment lies not within your heart,
for it has not been read and time moves slow for me.
But when it become in sight lift thy eyes and open them,
place these words within thy soul and hear my voice.
You have been blinded by others form empty words,
for words are only sounds but the beat of my heart is real.
Be not deceived by looks of others but feel our souls intertwine,
Clasp onto my lips and hold me and becoming mine.
I treasure each moment that our eyes meet hopping,
our eyes will never be blinded by empty words.
The warmth I feel when we are together brings heat into my soul,
your smile glows with a sparkling spirit within you.
As I watch you walk you sway as a tree on a soft windy day,
I have fallen for you as leaves do on a warm fall day.
Now your eyes have been open to my feelings through words,
Let me hold you forever so I may put meaning to these,

Words
