Love Poem: Teenage Love

Teenage Love

I'm in love; racing heartbeats and cheeks hot.
Strange, this feeling, where out of sense I'm brought
Instead of tea, sugar I pour in pot.
Baby brother is neglected in cot.
Lonely places now I seek for my thought.
The sensible ones seem to me but snot.
My homework and classes are all for naught.
My whole being with ecstasy is wrought.
Confused emotions hold my nerves all taut.
How long will I bear this state of distraught?
Cunning Cupid takes delight with his shot,
While I'm all tied for good in a tight knot!
