Teardrops On My Bended Knees

listening to that song called red rubber ball
moving on and surprisingly happy
she decided to choose another and say fare thee well
i decided to work to make myself well for thee
through it all, you have been my best friend
you are my whole family
you are my shelter of warmth that for so long has been amiss
you are my morning sun
you are my beautifully radiant moon
you are the reason i rise
you are the reason i take better care of myself
thanks to you, a better man i am
thanks to you, i much better man i will become
i am guilty for not giving you enough credit
i am guilty for not noticing you enough and being too immersed in the everyday routine
listening to i forgot to be your lover
sitting down as an older man and thinking about all that i have NOT DONE LATELY
i need to do better because each day you do better
i need to do better because each day you get better
i need to do better because each day you look better
i need to do better because anyday you can say to hell with this fool and walk right on out of that door
i will start by saying I Love You and go from there.....
