Love Poem: Taylor- the Great Tailor

Taylor- the Great Tailor

You were a bright spark
That lit in the darkness
You touched so many hearts
With your gentle kindness

A name so important it shan’t be forgotten
Poetry skills that that no other possesses
Popularity and fame long gotten
An imprint of honor that truly impresses

A lovable trait made for you only
Known everywhere and remembered for ever
Now that the world is without you lonely
It leaves your work with us
Still tender

Maybe your body and life are gone
Like birds that have now flown
But your soul and love are to us one
We shall grow a flower for your every heartbeat
We shall cry bitter tears of sadness
Yet we know less than few can beat
The quintessence of your creative madness

Though our hearts are broken into two
We know God never makes mistakes
For death can claim no victory
You will not have to walk alone
Though shadow all around
Weary, tired and worn

Your life here may have passed away
But eternity will never cease
May angels walk beside you
Toward forever peace
In heaven there’s no sadness
No more hurting
No more tears will fill your day
God wipes it all away

John Taylor, the great tailor
For the love you seamed and tailored
Our long lasting love
Will fly next to you wherever you go
As a pure white dove
The trees of love you planted here
Will never die
God be with you, until we meet again
Past the sunset in the sky
