I would rather talk of love than talk of pain
I would rather embrace in love than think war
I would rather caress than fight a beloved one
I would rather do than think of doing it the act
For it only hurts so when it's a thought a wish
I would rather write of nice stories and hide the gloom
Them feelings spilling themselves on my poetic picture
That hardening of heart when i don't want to embrace
The hurt's and scratches deep inside my soul i.. wanna
I want to cry Daddy give me the grace to face all
Meat and bitter herbs i am partaking today-
Celebrating the Lords Passover - embittered
Would rather my words were pure sweetness
Soul in tears sacrificed at the pedestal of love
Soul that seeks to find refuge that elusive hug
Hugs that wipes away all the tears and fears
Cleaning all the grime and glut of this soul
Embrace that delivers from the pit of gloom
Hug that softens this hardness in mine eyes
Looking above - love and betrayal a is a cup
