Love Poem: Take That Chance

Take That Chance

This danger is inviting and I want it to last,
Turned to look forward and I thought of the past.
Of all the decisions both right and wrong,
Stared at each other closely as we hurried along.

Hand in hand blind leading the blind,
Without thought or care of what we would find.
Hearts beating in time blood beginning to rush,
Is this the real thing or is it just a crush?

Holding her tight we begin to kiss,
Never had a dream as real as this.
Hopelessly wishing I would not wake,
If this were a drug till death I would take.

These are the times in life when we take that chance,
When you fall so quickly at the first glance.
Eyes of emerald green take hold of my stare,
In a room full of people she is the only one there,

A snow white smile makes my stomach turn,
A voice filled with passion my heart starts to burn.
But the fire is to strong to hard to keep pace,
Smile soaked by the tears that slip down my face.

I will never forget this time and the time spent,
I don’t know if you will ever know how much they have meant,
Or how much they mean,
Because you are like no one I have ever seen,
Or have ever met.
Falling for you I will never regret.

You have touch my soul and touched my heart,
This story is not ending for it is only the start.
The start of something new no words can portray,
The connection we have will always stay.

No labels no titles no words to define,
What we share is only yours and only mine,
I am a friend for life or as long as you want me to be,
If this is meant to ever go further I guess we will see.
