Love Poem: Take Notes

Take Notes

Seven days and seven nights of burning heat and passion
Some would say they made this up, but that is not their fashion.
They said to me that life is great, but their love is even more
and if I were to take some notes, a better one in store.

First,
take your time, they said to me, when showing how you feel,
love should never be so fast, keep it slow and real.

Second,
Don’t talk about the things you’ll do, just go ahead and get them done.
Your love will then, burn right through, the other’s heart you’ve won.

Third,
Keep it simple, but romantic. Never spare or lessen your desires.
Then, for certain, it will get hot and increase your lover’s fires.

Fourth,
Don’t forget the surprise when showing appreciation for the other
That will provide much variety and a much appreciated lover.

Fifth,
Don’t ever be scared to ask for what you want and what you need
Your mutual love will forever flow, forever blossom and be free.

So, this they said, is the way to two lovers’ eternal bliss,
Remember though, before all of these, share your ever loving kiss.
