Take a Dive

I’m bearing down beside me, straight threw and into my life.
I’ve lost my sight, but its still fading.
I’m tearing right into another life.
And here I have been, and I’m still waiting.
I’m tearing down the walls, they were closed in too tight.
I don’t even know if I’m worth saving.
I’m living for a chance at another’s eyes.
A chance to call them my own, because mine were taken.
I’m dying on the ground, starring towards the sky.
This is where I have lain, and I can’t stop the bleeding.
So here I lay, about to die, it almost feels like flying.
I’m starring down beside me, crieng, barely even alive.
I wish for death but I can’t stop fighting.
So I jump, take a dive.
As I fall I’ve been asking myself why.
But when I finally hit bottom, I find…. I’m still alive.
