Surrealistic Symphony

SURREALISTIC SYMPHONY

With the new light
From the rising sun
Let it warm you as my love like a sweater that I spun
And may your everyday begin
Where your lovely dreams do end
And every time you close your eyes May they all begin again
You’re like a supernova
I’m blinded by your brilliant beams
No place can claim you contained before bursting at the seams

This time I refuse to quit
I’ll give it everything I got
But disregard my greatest deeds for they could do you justice not

You’re my favorite musician
In your eyes I hear a song
A surrealistic symphony makes my sad soul sing along
So turn your love light on
And flood this melancholy place
Cover up the scars and stories that time has carved into my face
Now I can think of no occurrence
When my words have rang more true
Then when I use that old cliché, the simple statement “I love you”
