Love Poem: Superior Man

Superior Man

Other men wonder how I make women mesmerize
Bigger than most men similar to football player size
I begin to share my secret and they still don’t realize
It’s my pleasant desirable qualities
To her liking
Suited to her end or purpose
Having the ability to treat her well
Indicative of future success
Or full of promise to stay by her side
Throughout the good and bad times
The guys say “who do you think you are?”
I’m a man
A superior man
That’s me

When I see a woman struggling with groceries from a far
I’ll walk to her, and carry her groceries to her car
Sometimes when she wakes
I’ll have breakfast cooked for her so she won’t be late
I’m there when she needs for me to caress and hold
Even when I’m hot because I know she’s cold
I make it an oath to cater to her in every way
Write her poetry and send roses on any given day
On days that she’s sad or when she’s had bad luck
I’ll do whatever makes her better even if it takes my last couple of bucks.
I’m gentle with her body like chemicals in a flask
Anything she needs me to do, I will do, no questions asked
When other women ask “Dang girl who is he?”
I’ll say I’m a man
A superior man
That’s me

As I travel throughout the city
Feeling the cool breeze
I tend to catch women
Begin to stare at me
When they glance I glance back from time to time
Now I know thoughts of me are running through her mind
It is my smile that you see
Or the size of my feet
Or the size of my wand
Parting your Red Sea
I see she’s getting hot
Loving her I’ll never stop
I make sure that my tongue serenades every spot
Women ask themselves “how can this be?”
It’s the flick of my tongue
My appetite for fun
My ambition for not stopping until my job is done
Then women will ask themselves “What makes him so attractive to me?”
I’ll say for every phenomenal woman,
There is a real man
A superior man
That’s me
