Superfluous

Holding hands, we embrace each other, and our hearts and souls slowly entwine. When two lonely hearts first fall in love, moments are savored like a fine wine. And the eye sees only perfection, for love's an intoxicating drink. And sipping the elixir of hope, lovers do not care what others think. Smiles, laughs, and giggles enhance the mood, ascribing white lies to vanities. And heaven comes within mortal reach, as soulmates indulge their fantasies. We were two strangers searching for love, when destiny brought us together. And once all doubts were replaced by trust, two half-souls were conjoined forever. There is no me, and there is no you when hearts combine; there is only us. And as long as we love each other, everything else is superfluous.
