Others might think that it's a pity that we met late in life
Won't have as many years as I like to have you as my wife
But maybe it is just the way that things were meant to be
That is why when I found you in this life you weren't free
I still think it's a blessing that I did find you my dearest
Whatever we are going through in this life is just a test
Time we spend together however short will be the best
Remember that to each other's life we do add to the zest
I believe that it's part of the grand design that we met late
There is no real reason to get mad,frustrated and hate fate
For we have something eternal and that is worth the wait
It is true dear that we are each others one and true soul mate
So my everdearest do not ever be sad, instead be glad because it's alright
It was already in the sunset that we met but after it comes the night
And remember after the night comes a new day, a new glorious light
And for us that means a new beginning, a new life full of delight
