Love Poem: Sunday Afternoon in the Park

Sunday Afternoon in the Park

A walk in a sleetstorm, my hair soaking wet
A thought about you that I'll not soon forget
The thought went like this,
Cozy cabin so warm,
Rewinding, replaying, a favorite song,
You're waiting for me as I walk through the door,
With my flannel pajamas and a fire aroar,
A towel to dry me, a hot mug of tea,
The long night before us, it's just you and me
Not sure, but I think I know what happens next
I'll tell you in person, this isn't for text
Since the day that I met you my love for you grew
And all I want now is to come home to you
