Sun and Moon
As the day comes to an end I look at you my friend and remember how far we've come.
I recall a time when we weren't so close now your the one I can depend on the most.
Looking up at the stars now as the sun goes below I am happy to be with you in this place we call home.
I've never liked being along to much silence breeds pain and misery.
It's such a beautiful shame that we get along so well and all this time you've somehow kept me under your spell.
I would love to dwell with you forever my dearest for it is with you that my eyes see the clearest.
I have seen the makings of your heart it is Strong and Fierce yet Gentle and Pure.
Sitting here beside you I yearn to reach over and hold your hand.
I stare at you with jubilation as you are my greatest temptation but perhaps you will never understand.
So close but so far apart we are like the sun and the moon will there every be a time when we share the same sky?
I overflow with happiness every time I hear your voice. I have no choice but to love you.
My gloom and my sadness has caused others to flee but you have stayed right beside me.
As the night gives up the darkness to the sunlight I look at you and realize I do not know what motivates you to live and I do not understand your mind.
However I thank you for putting in the time to try and understand mine.
