Summer's Heat
We make torrid love in mid summer's heat
under a cloudless cerulean sky.
And her August kisses taste April sweet,
gentle as a breeze and soft as a sigh.
As her hypnotic green eyes mesmerize
lush lips ever so gently nimble mine.
And feeling feelings I can't verbalize
our souls somehow magically combine.
Our body heat quickly turns sizzling hot
as two hearts pound, and temperatures rise.
A moment when two soulmates share one thought
and reality's free to fantasize.
When embers spontaneously ignite
lovers make hay on a hot summer's night.
