Summer Sunset
Soft sounds of wind whispering through the trees
Ultimate joy sharing this view with my best friend
Many more shades of brilliant colours to seize
My soul, captivating us until the day’s end
Evening magic in the warmth of your embrace
Remembering where we are, leaving no trace
Silently we walk along the beach, kissing again and holding hands
United by the softly spoken vows
Not wanting to leave, nor return to life’s demands
Surreal, so much happiness this union allows
Ever after, ever more, we remain
True to Mother Earth, singing her refrain.
