Suffering For Christ?
Jesus… Do I really know what it means
to suffer and sacrifice?
I’ve been living good, and have
things going “pretty nice.”
I’ve been enjoying each day rather
content and happy…
I enjoy a beautiful home..,
A nice car and family!
With all of this… Who could ask
for anything more?
But to daily sacrifice for Jesus?
What is the purpose for???
Jesus told the rich man to sell that we had.
And give to the needy.
I ‘ve been living for myself...
And have been “selfish and greedy.”
The cross of Christ, in my life,
must have a daily effect!
Jesus gave his life for mine.
This I must not forget!
I need to come to the cross.
The symbol of suffering and shame…
And kneel before my lord in
humbleness to HIS name!
