Love Poem: Stuck In a Snowglobe With You

Stuck In a Snowglobe With You

Pray, if I were stuck in a snowglobe with you, Love,
I think, amorously,
That I would have done everything that I could
To shake it a million times
So as to be able to wake in you,
The magical essence of Christmas cheer
As it brings with it
Loads of sparkling starry dust
Meant to ignite in us all the essence of life's fire!

Ours, tied to a fate which has been revealed to me
Is meant to be lived as would a lover, drenched
In sweat, exhausted, fallen, unable to stride on
Without the held out hand of his beloved!
In a snowglobe, with you, during Christmas cheer
Would simply allow the higher powers
To show you that hidden behind the extravagant decorum
Lies the mysticism of our bond!

Pray, should my million shakes not wake your soul
I would simply break the snow globe, allowing its fluid to flow
And denying me, thus, of my right to be!
