Love Poem: Stronger Than I Was

Stronger Than I Was

I wish to be a better man
Stronger than I was
I think this is a better plan
Than doing as I does

I use every euphemism
That its possible to muse
As affects within a prizm
The refraction is in use

Happy brought to light
As the darkness fades away
The world can be so bright
As I hang with you this day

Feel as though I love
A feeling that so light
Fitting like a glove
Why does it feel so right

I smile at your thought
And the smirk upon your face
With all the joy you've brought
I want you in my space

If I could hold you in my arms
I would never let you go
We could be our lucky charms
If we let our feelings show

Just because I feel this way
You may not feel the same
There is never much to say
As no-one is to blame

But if a heart is pumping
Expression is the key
Have to keep it thumping
With love to you from me
