Love Poem: Stormy Heart

Stormy Heart

A storm rages over my heart
It has been here since eons ago
Now my heart is drowned in a pool of sorrow
For it does seem that the storm did cause my feelings to be in abort

Yes, empty and barren is my heart
No one is worthy of having in there, a place
For, once in the storm they do get caught
They do realize that I am evil, instead of being full of grace

The storm is made of swirling winds
They rage on, destroying every part of my heart
The storm is also made of bloody tears
Tears that I did shed when I did fall in love with my soul's assassin

A storm it is, so strong that it does control my heart
No more can I smile and say yes to a passing sweetheart
Those who do dare take a trip in,
Do lose the grip of their own boat, they easily do backspin

A storm it is, having not on Earth, a worthy equal
It did bring my life to a temporary stall
It did bring me to build around myself, walls of defense
So that none shall again trample on and have me to their tunes, entranced!

A storm it is, which I shall carry with me to my grave
It was formed all for the sake of love
Love for a hater, love of the mistaken type
A storm it is, from which I shall never have any escape!
