Stories of Love Recited

TOMORROW IS ALWAYS YESTERDAY
The day my love was rejected
My soul itself,was so dejected
All the nights drift into the surreal
My life's..a nightmare..so unreal
Pain touches my inner core
The day she said no more..no more
Concentration just flies away
Tomorrow is always yesterday....
Questions,questions nag my mind
Answers..missing I cannot find
The perfect circle ,broke in two
This curtain obliterates my view
Her eyes said all there was to say
Alone,we went our separate way
Tomorrow is always yesterday

WEIGHTLESS

Love,new love
               floats on air,
         thermals of desire
fuel
passion's flight;
       off the wall,
       out of this world,
drifting
together without
a care;
                kissing,
missing minutes
become hours,
     one dream becomes
another.

Inspired an image from Chagall painting The Birthday

A ROMANCICAL
we painted rainbows
you and I,
'cross our golden sky;
one by one the years
rolled away,
but a vow,once made,
still lives on,
brightly,as before;
this pot of treasure
worth much more than gold;
riches,untold
to sustain us,as
we grow old;
this love,grows not cold

Note:Written in 2011 to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary

BEYOND LOVE
The sun will rise,the sun will set,
no more love will life beget;
The day will break,the moon to rise,
no more love,as this life dies;
The Summer heat,or Winter cold,
no more love will this life hold;
The Autumn fall,and Springtime green,
no more again,will love be seen;
The wheat will shoot,the grass will grow,
no more again sweet love to know;
The grape will ripen on the vine
no more,no more will love be mine.
