Stop Asking

Stop Asking...
Never!

Every day I watch,
carefully I see,
all that can be seen
through my tears.
They said that you have it,
evil as it sounds.
I refuse...
I refuse... (lower)
I refuse... (whispered)

I am on my knees,
before my King,
let my voice in heaven sing.
Please Lord,
Please Lord, (lower)
Please Lord. (whispered)

The moment passes,
and the ground has returned
that had been removed.
I can stand again.
I will stand again.
I will stand for both of us,
should we stagger,
and before we fall.
Jesus is with us,
Jesus is with us, (lower)
Jesus is with us. (whispered)

The stars in the sky are brighter,
the days are full of promise.
Hope has returned.
God bless the day,
God bless the day, (lower)
God bless the day. (whispered)

Spirit of the King come...
Surround us with your joy.
Fill us with all that is true.
Let us know that there is healing,
and then give us the feeling
of revival anew.
Yahshua, amen...
Yahshua, amen... (lower)
Yahshua, amen. (whispered)

The hospital called,
the lady on the phone...
She knew your name,
and the words were the same.
It does not matter.
It is of no consequence.
I will tell you why...

My God he hears me.
I know that he does.
I feel the wind,
his hand upon my face.
He is with me.
He is with us.
He is real.
Amen.
Amen. (lower)
Amen. (whispered into silence)
