Stealing Kisses

Remember that night?
We were watching movies at a party,
I fell asleep and woke up,
Your arm around me,
God how hard do I cry now when I think about that?

We got up and walked outside,
We just sat and talked,
You hugged me from behind and my heart began to mend from the hurt I've experienced before,
You told me you'd protect me.

"You could burn down this town if they made matches from fear," (Stealing Kisses-Faith Hill)
I wanted so much to stay in your arms,
I had to go home,
You called me though,
You asked me if I could come back,
I couldn't,
I was so sad,
But that was ok with you,
You'd see me Monday.

It was Monday,
We sat in the middle of fifth period,
And all I could think about was you right beside me,
I loved you already.
And I could hear my heart beat in my chest,
Could you?

Then the bell rung,
You got up and hugged me,
And we walked out,
You were trying to ask me something,
But you couldn't because of your best friend Ray.

"All of my complaints shrink to nothing, I'm ashamed of all my somethings." (Fully
Alive-Flyleaf)
He asked me out for you,
I said yes,
Of course,
Then we hugged again,
And I felt tears because I thought I was loved.

Friday at a football game,
For some stupid,
Un-godly reason,
Someone started rumors about me,
I had to break up with you because I didn't want to cause you pain.

I screwed up right then and there,
We got back together but things were never right again.
And now I miss you and all I can say is I'm sorry,
It won't fix things now,
But I miss you.

"They said you can't leave, she said 'Yes I will.'" (She's A Wild One-Faith Hill)
