Statue

I got feelings
Cut me I bleed
And when I’m hungry
I need to be feed

I’m just like you
Want the best out of life
And I’m afraid of objects
Like a gun and a knife

And I can cry
And shed tears
Don’t like the darkness
Cause I easily fears

 So don’t hurt me
 Careful what you do
 I’m not made of stone
Like a statue

If you like me please
Just let me know
And if you don’t
Just let me go

I’m only human
How much can I take?
Are you going push me?
Untill my spirits brake

You ask why a hottie
Like me are alone
Then you mislead me
 Then you were gone

So don’t hurt me
Careful what you do
 I’m not made of stone
Like a statue

Can’t cut my way out
  It’s hard to survive
So I stand here waiting
For common sense to arrive

You know you love me
Its deep within
Maybe you’re afraid
Of the color of my skin

But love isn’t prejudice
Its people who are
Don’t mine your color
Broken hearts will leave a scar

So don’t hurt me
Careful what you do
I’m not made of stone
Like a statue

Yeah be careful
Of what you
I am not stone
I’m not a statue
