Starts With S

this space, hollow and void,

not knowing when you're going to fall,

the absence of twinkling grace,

where are you, recognizable face?

the sockets grimace and grin,

with secret knowledge of life's sinful skin,

paths of truth veering left and right,

search for an exit, one with light,

one that feels good and fits just right.

hold it back, hold it all in,

don't let it break, feel it at the brim,

hold hands with serenity's sister;

in the end we all let go,

in the end, we're all in the wind -
