I am reminded of our early romance in the Windy city We sat at the Planetarium and watched the city skyline
Tonight, I watched the stars making lovely music like stars do Those stars make never a sound but are heard very distinctly
There were other stars performing rather differently They were stars designed to parade just for you
I had no idea until they flashed their bright lights on me Magically, I was certain for whom they were shinning
and for whom they were burning and flashing and falling There were yet other stars waiting to replace the fallen heroes,
and they were quickly informed that they were born for you Why, they lit up the sky, writing your name on every cloud in sight
That's when I could stand it no longer and went searching for you Now, here we are, as I point out those stars made to perform for you
And you stand here with me looking all surprised like you usually do, never quite sure why you are so appreciated and loved by the stars
We're older now, no planetarium, no windy city; just you, me, and the stars I'm just a vague memory, but they shine for you and everything you do
