Love Poem: Star Light, Star Bright

Star Light, Star Bright

Little star a favor I ask
It's not too difficult a task
Would you twinkle in her bedroom's view
And get her focus fixed on you?
Then blink a message in morse code
Through dots and dashes craft an ode
Tell her I miss her very much
And in the softest kind of touch
Ask her if she misses me
Just catch her eye and you will see
The answer there, she's not of words
Her actions speak, that's how she's heard
And when her answer you then know
Your job is done and you can go
I'll be looking at the sky
Until your twinkle I descry

Now if she misses me is true
Then blink the fact in starlight blue
But tell me first
If your heart she pulled
She can do that
She's so beautiful
And what you thought
When you first saw
If you, like me
Just stood in awe
When she caught your eye
If she made you melt
When she caught mine
That's what I felt
If the answer's no, then blink in white
And I will stay up all the night
I'll ask you to my heart nourish
Then on you I will make a wish
My wish and dream will then concur
And forever twinkle over her
